Lipe Art Park requests your proposal for a mural on the Art Shark. Murals on this concrete wall are installed for a one year period under the curation of the Stewards of Lipe Art Park (SLAP).
The wall has three primary surfaces to be painted. See the PDF drawings for the size and shape of these surfaces. Please use these drawings as a base for design proposal. The chosen design will need to be presented to and approved by the Syracuse Public Art Commission prior to being painted.
Timeline:
- Mural proposals submissions due to SLAP: Oct. 1
- Design awarded: Oct. 4
- Presentation of selected proposal to Public Art Commission: Oct. 9
- Mural completion date: Nov. 15
Stipend:
$400 is provided for supplies and artist fee
